We invite you to join us for a leisurely walk (approx. 1 1⁄2 hr) around the quaint village of Lodano in Valle Maggia. The Lodano valley has been designated a UNESCO Heritage Site.
We will walk on mostly flat grassy paths and gravelled roads around the village. Since we will be walking in the morning, the grass and leaves may be wet so please wear good walking shoes that are water resistant and have good soles. Bring walking sticks if needed.
After the walk, we will have lunch at the Osteria Cramalina.

Directions: After passing the village of Maggia the sign for Lodano indicates the exit from the cantonal road on the right, use the underpass and cross the bridge over the river, continue straight ahead (approx. 200 m) where there is a parking area. This is where we will meet. If you are driving and can take other members, please let Katy know, so we can arrange car-sharing.
Bus 315 leaves the Locarno station at 9.50 arriving at the Lodano bus stop at 10.21. You then walk from the bus stop under the underpass and over the bridge on the road heading directly towards the village.
