Date: Wednesday, September 11, 2019 10:00

On Wednesday 11 September there will be an outing to Faido. Unknown to most, Faido was the meeting place of the high society during the Belle Epoque (1884-1914). Faido was also the first town in Ticino to get electricity, because of the importance as a tourism hot-spot during the Belle Epoque. The town has a Capuchin convent, which has the first wall painting of Fra Roberto, a renowned artist and Capuchin. Detailed information about the outing will follow at a later date.
