We are going to Bellinzona to experience the Leonardo Da Vinci 3D exhibition and to explore the capital of the Ticino.
Leonardo Da Vinci 3D is a modern, revolutionary exhibition presenting the genius.
Leonardo da Vinci (15 April 1452 – 2 May 1519) is best described as a “Universal Genius”. Leonardo was Italian and he lived during the Renaissance period. He is famous for his paintings, but he was also a scientist, mathematician, engineer, inventor, anatomist, sculptor, architect, botanist, musician, and a writer.
Leonardo wanted to know everything aboutnature. He also wanted to know how everything worked. He excelled at studying, designing and making all sorts of interesting things. Leonardo was one of the greatest painters of all time. He is described as the most talented person ever to have lived.
Bellinzona is the capital of the canton of Ticino. The town is famous for its three castles (Castelgrande, Montebello, Sasso Corbaro) that have been UNESCO World Heritage Sites since 2000. The town lies east of the river Ticino, at the foot of the Alps. It stretches along the river valley, surrounded by the southern ranges of the Lepontine Alps to the east and west, and by the Lugano Prealps to the south.
